The VentureOne as a starter travel card has an attractive introductory bonus of 20,000 bonus miles when you spend $500 on purchases within three months of account opening.

      You must spend approximately $168 on purchases each month, during the first three months of account opening to receive 20,000 miles. The spending limit is not set too high, so the miles accumulation is possible in the beginning.

      You get 1.25 miles per dollar for each purchase, there is no cap on collectible miles, and no expiry of miles as far as your account is in good standing.

      While both these cards offer similar benefits from VISA or MasterCard, the key difference is that you earn more miles per dollar with Venture, the bonus miles are higher and you can receive a credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck with Venture which is why there is an annual fee for Venture card.

      Earning the bonus miles on VentureOne Rewards is far easier. You also get intro APR for your purchases with VentureOne, which you miss out if you choose Venture. No Annual Fee is a bonus.

      Depending upon your travel requirements you can choose either of the cards. If you do not want to pay an annual fee then VentureOne is the card for you. You need to have a good credit score to be eligible for a VentureOne card.
